This information is anonymous and can not be used to track your personal information. Session data consists of things such as IP address, operating system and type of browser software being used and the activities conducted by the user while on our site. An IP address is a number that enables computers attached to the Internet, such as our web servers, to know where to send data back to the user, such as the pages of the site the user wishes to view. We collect session data because it helps us administer our website, track correlative information and to collate statistics in relation to visitor traffic. We may use your IP address to help us diagnose problems with our server. Rest assured that this information can not be linked to you personally.

Opting Out of Communications

We need to contact you during the ordering and delivery process in order to make sure you get the confirmation of your purchase and the delivery information you need. Where Boxtails UK Ltd. ‘powers’ the online shop for a producer’s own website, we provide the code and access to our technology without customers having to leave the producer’s website. If you are shopping on their website but using Boxtails UK Ltd. to login, check out and order then your details are being provided to us as per this policy. If you choose to select the tick box on checkout that gives permission for us to share your basic information (name and email) with the brewery then we will do so. Where we are operating their online shop on their behalf they would often like to be able to contact those customers and add them to their own mailing lists for marketing purposes and we support this request by giving you the option to comply. You should check the producer’s own privacy policy carefully before agreeing and once the data has been provided you need to contact them directly to query, update and request removal from their records. It will always be made explicit and will require an active opt-in for you regarding sharing details with the producer.
